It’s nice to see that you are trying to raise awareness. Though I might ask how much of BP’s thriving energy industry depends on clean sources? (and no, I wouldn’t call gas a clean source) Something tells me you guys can make A LOT more effort than just showing a greened up public image.

I haven’t had too many problems with the game so far… It’s been OK.

What happened to Nuclear energy as one of the most efficient and clean energy source?

The problem is the game does not ACTUALLY run on many computers including mine so it is a MOOT point. Certailly not written in the tradition of the Orginal SimCity games.Just a lot of hype.

Sadly very disappointed! Although the game is unique, creative and appeals to a whole lot of people (The Sims Fans), it has really absolutely nothing to do with SimCity that we have grown to love over the years. I think at this point it tops the list of my MRGB’s (Most Regretted Game Buys) for 2007.

Love the game, but the freez ups are driving me mad.

Wow, I can’t believe everyone is believing that human caused climate change is occurring. I hope everyone knows that there are cyclical changes to the world’s climate, and that if glacier melt wasn’t occurring, then there would be something to worry about.

The promotion of alternative energies through gaming is wonderful and very creative. The Simcity series games have always appealed to young and old generations, and this medium gets the word out in a fun and yet still meaningful way, where decisions have positive or negative consequences. I haven’t tried the game yet, but I’m a long time fan of the series, and I look forward to trying this latest version of a favorite game.
I’m a former navy nuclear electrician, currently in college for an electrical engineering degree. When finished, I plan to work in some way to improve fusion, solar, or other alternative energies. I applaud BP for its commitment to improving the state of the art.

I can’t believe you can make a game associated with a fraud like global warming. Can anyone tell me how tempurature change happened before the industrial revolution.

Can’t wait for this one!

I’m ready to play. I could go one way or the other on the whole corporate sponsorship thing though it is nice to see companies take notice… even if only nominally.

As long as Godzilla is in there I’ll be happy!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I haave been waiting for the release of this one rather eagerly. I’ve heard some mixed opinions in terms of the complexity of the game itself though some of the new concepts being thrown out here do seem interesting. The whole environment thing throws a new dimension in the game and I am curious to see how it plays out.
